The iPhone Development community has done it again! Firmware version 1.1.3 has been jailbroken, full read and write access. However, the method is not yet available for public release.
This video is the latest evidence and has been confirmed.
Dust off your iPhuc and grab yourself a copy of iNdependence, you may be needing them soon!
You can also grab yourself an IRC client and join in with iPhone Development community.

Thanks for all your help! The Symbolic link worked out great, free space on the OS side makes a huge difference! Here's to speedy 1.1.3 release.
